Useful information about orders, prices, shipping and deliveries, guarantee and returns

Orders
Orders can be placed via our website policolchoes.com or by calling any of our mattress stores in Lisbon.
POLIMÓVEL – Decorações, Lda., reserves to the right to cancel or refuse any order placed by a customer for exceptional reasons, like decisions by manufacturers that may impact product availability or prices, or customer not complying with payments. Our company is not responsible before the customer, if products or content is changed on the website or removed from it. For those reasons, the company may refuse to process or accept any order for which a confirmation of the order has been sent.
Prices
The prices for our products are in Euros (€), and already include VAT at the legal rate.
POLIMÓVEL – Decorações, Lda., reserves the right to modify prices at any time, but the products shall be invoiced on the basis of the rates in force at the time the order was placed, subject to the item being available on that date.
Note: please bear in mind that we do everything to ensure that the prices shown on the website are correct, but there’s always a chance for some error or mistake, so the final price will always be confirmed later by us.
Deliveries
- Policolchões delivers its products to continental Portugal and the islands.
- In the Lisbon district, our staff takes care of the delivery and assembly of the products.
- For other locations, delivery is made by courier and does not include assembly (which can be done at an additional cost, if requested).
- After collection by the carrier at our warehouse, delivery is usually made within 1-2 working days in Lisbon, and 2 to 4 working days in continental Portugal.
- The customer will be contacted by SMS with information on the day and time of delivery (normally made in the morning or afternoon), and it is not possible to schedule an exact time.
- Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility, to confirm that the products fit in the entrances to their home.
Delivery Time
- Products in stock are dispatched immediately by courier, or the delivery by our crew is scheduled as quickly as possible.
- Products that are not in stock await supply from the manufacturer, and the average time is indicated on the product page.
- In Lisbon district, as a rule delivery will be made within 1 to 2 working days after products are available, between 9-13h and 15-19h.
- In mainland Portugal, the carrier collects it from our warehouse and delivery usually takes place 2 to 4 working days later.
- For Azores and Madeira islands, after dispatch delivery occurs between 5 and 10 working days later (depending on the destination, the volume of the order and the availability of the carrier).
Shipping Cost
- Pick up at store: customers can pick up the products at one of our mattress stores in Lisbon, without any delivery cost.
- Delivery in Lisbon or Setúbal districts: purchases equal or over €250.00 are eligible for free delivery in the following municipalities: Lisbon, Amadora, Cascais, Loures, Odivelas, Oeiras, Almada and Barreiro. In other more distant municipalities, delivery costs are the same as in mainland Portugal.
- Delivery in Portugal: products equal or over €500.00/unit are elegible for free delivery within mainland Portugal.
Products bellow that value or to be delivered to the islands have a cost, which is presented upon check out.
The delivery cost for your order will be calculated and displayed, using the delivery address entered on the order form.
After receiving your order, we will get back to you, confirming both the delivery cost and deadline.
Product Guarantee
We provide support and counselling to our customers, while the product’s guarantee is the responsibility of the manufacturers.
Returns
- The customer that acts as a consumer may freely cancel the contract within 14 days from the date of receipt of the products (in accordance with Article 6 of Decree-Law Nº 143/2001 of April, 26).
- Cancellation of the Contract is subject to the products being returned at the same state in which they were delivered, after which the user will be repaid the full price paid for the products.
- Return is at the expense and risk of the customer, and must include all instruction manuals, documents and packaging materials.
- Payment for any damaged products, that are not in the same condition as when received by the customer, or that have been used beyond simply opening the packaging, shall not be reimbursed.
- This applies only to online or telephone distance sales.
